With over 20 years of experience in the medical industry, Liana is a highly regarded leader and Director at Bay Medical Specialists.
Her expertise spans across developing systems and processes that streamline operations and enhance efficiency within medical practices. Liana collaborates with medical professionals nationwide, providing valuable insights and tailored advice to those seeking to establish or improve their private practices in Australia.

Jodie
Jodie has spent the last 15 years working for various surgeons such as Orthopaedic, Neurosurgery and General to name a few. Jodie loves anything debt related and finds a strange excitement in significantly decreasing any onboarding surgeons outstanding accounts. Jodie enjoys deadlines and multitasking.
In her spare time, you will find Jodie at Rainbow Beach enjoying family time.
Fun facts:
- Jodie used to measure garlic bread dough for her bread and butter as a young lass.
- Jodie has her Cert II in nail technology. Yes, you read that right.
- Jodie’s co-workers describer her as entertaining, to say the least.

Carly
Carly has almost 20 years of administration experience in various fields which includes 10 years of practice management in areas such as Cardiology, Neurology and Psychiatry. Carly enjoys the fast paced environment and loves to find more efficient and beneficial ways to work.
In her spare time she likes to hang out with her two rescue dogs and tend to her out of control indoor plant collection.
Fun facts:
- Carly has studied Criminology and Psychology and loves learning about behaviour in all animals (including humans!)
- Carly is also a qualified animal trainer and ran the dog training team for an animal shelter for a few years.
- Carly's biggest fear is geckos/lizards.

Debbie
Debbie brings a diverse and well-rounded background in healthcare and customer service with experience spanning radiology, general practice clinics and practice management roles in both osteopathy and psychology settings.
She excels at building strong rapport with clients and colleagues alike, and her customer-focused approach and leadership skills have been central to her success across various industries.
Outside of work, Debbie enjoys listening to music, spending time with her new puppy, and following a wide range of sports—especially the NBA, cricket, and NRL.
Fun facts:
- Debbie previously worked as a Tour Co-Ordinator for both international and Australian bands, including serving as personal assistant for the Divinyls
- She was the first ever recipient of the Whitsunday Employee Of The Year Award
- Debbie is also a certified NeurOptimal brain trainer adding a unique dimension to her skill set in health and wellness.

Jade
Jade has over 7 years of administration experience across multiple medical disciplines including optical and ophthalmology, fertility and gynaecology. Jade is an outgoing and energetic person who loves nothing more than to help her patients.
Fun facts:
- Jade has a passion for fashion and in her spare time designs, drafts and makes her own wardrobe.
- Jade is a huge fan of rollerskating.
- Jade has a wonderful memory for fun but useless facts—she's a big hit at trivia nights!

Tara
With over 15 years of diverse administration experience spanning military procurement, accounting, fitness clubs, physiotherapy, orthopaedics and sports medicine, Tara has honed her skills in various professional environments.
Her educational background includes a Diploma in Fitness, Diploma in Business Administration and a Certificate in Reception and Medical Terminology.
Tara has dedicated the last 4 years to supporting specialists in orthopaedics and sports medicine, contributing to the service, support, and recovery of patients.
Fun facts:
- Tara is known as a "crazy plant lady."
- She loves lifting weights and running
- Tara has a knack for making tasty treats!

Tracey
Tracey has spent around 10 years working in medical administration with experience across multiple administrative areas in a hospital setting, including medical records, Informed financial consent and onsite accounts/billing liaison.
Billing is of particular interest as Tracey enjoys problem solving and clearing debt. Tracey has also previously worked in the public sector for the Department of Home Affairs.

In her spare time, you will find Tracey spending time with her cat Murphy or playing Football for her local club; Go Redbacks!

- Tracey has a Bachelor of Justice degree.
- Tracey loves reading and has an extensive leather-bound book collection.
- Tracey can play several musical instruments.

Brandon
Brandon has approximately 5 years of administration experience in the medical field. Starting in a hospital setting in a surgical booking role and moving through to practice administration, he is quite adept at adapting to new processes & programs as required.
Brandon enjoys problem solving and putting his decade of customer service experience to use in a medical administration environment.
In his spare time you will find Brandon at the movies, at the next concert in town, playing touch football, or working on his hobbies (the newest being film photography).

- Brandon has a Bachelor of Arts and a Graduate Diploma of Education
- Brandon is creative in different mediums (writing, painting, photography)
- Brandon has had a short story published in a university short story collection

Natalie
Natalie has been working in administration for the last 6 years within a Medical and Allied Health setting, with her most recent experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Prior to moving into administration, Natalie has worked within Pathology Laboratories for over 20 years in various roles and holds a Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (Pathology).
Natalie has enjoyed working in the Medical Industry for most of her working life and continues to call herself a “care giver”.
In her spare time, whilst rare with four children, she likes to take long walks along the water, watch shows with a Viking theme, and her newest hobby is camping.
Fun facts:
- Natalie has an identical twin sister and her father is also an identical twin.
- Natalie is the first in her family to obtain a university degree.
- Natalie’s birthday is 13th November and it falls frequently on the Friday that some think are unlucky, but she feels there is nothing better than this day for her.

Sam
Sam has nearly 14 years of experience in General Practice, where she developed a strong passion for customer service and takes pride in connecting with people from all backgrounds. She is dedicated to ensuring that everyone she meets feels supported with kindness and compassion, helping them achieve the best possible outcomes on their healthcare journey.
In her spare time, Sam enjoys relaxing with her husband, her four adult children, and her two young grandchildren. She loves spending time at the beach, going for long walks, watching movies, or curling up with a good book.
A devoted AFL fan, Sam cheers on her team, Carlton, with enthusiasm and isn’t shy about yelling at the TV when the game heats up! Her love for AFL also includes cheering for her boys at the local footy club.

Louisa
Louisa has over nine years of experience working in specialised medical care. Before moving to Australia, she worked closely with a Paediatric Neurologist in South Africa, focusing on children with Cerebral Palsy. This role honed her expertise in providing compassionate, patient-centred support to families navigating complex healthcare needs.
She is passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact in the lives of those she serves.
Louisa has enhanced her qualifications by completing a Certificate III in Aged and Disability Care, further broadening her ability to support individuals with diverse needs.
Fun facts:
- Louisa is an avid camper who enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family and friends.
- She has a particular fondness for sausage dogs.
- Louisa is fluent in Afrikaans.

Imogen
Imogen has been working in medical administration since 2021, when she wanted to expand her knowledge of medicine and health after finishing her Cert III in Animal Studies. Since, she has had experience in pain management, orthopaedics, gastroenterology, and hepatology.
Imogen genuinely enjoys speaking to new people, learning their stories, and forming a connection with patients.
In her free time, you might find her taking her two cats; Olive and Little One, out for a walk, or painting something that inspires her.
Fun facts:
- Imogen grew up doing theatre, and has played a lead in many different shows including The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, and Cinderella.
- Imogen has completed a Certificate IV in Crime and Justice.
- Imogen is currently learning how to crochet.

Kylie
Kylie is new to the medical industry with six months of experience in administration supporting Paediatricians. She truly enjoys customer service and assisting patients with their inquiries and working in a busy clinic environment.
In her spare time, Kylie prioritises staying active. She regularly goes to the gym and lift weights and enjoys competing in triathlons and running events.
She runs her own Personal Training business and has been doing this for 15 years. On weekends she spends time with her three daughters engaging in various fun activities.

- Kylie has studied Certificate III and IV in Fitness
- She is a big fan of the Brisbane Lions
- Biggest fear is swooping magpies

Monica
Monica is experienced in various arenas of healthcare with over 20+ years experience in the industry, encompassing both public and private sectors.
Most recently she has worked within private practices providing mental health, oncology and general surgery services.
When she’s not working she’s enjoying the company of her family and friends and two very spoilt miniature dachshund dogs, Basil and Watson. She also enjoys the occasional glass of Savvy B!

- Loves pizza—making and eating!
- Loves the challenge of renovating older style homes—exhausting but very rewarding!

Daniela
Daniela has over 20 years of administration experience in various fields which include General Practice, Multidisciplinary Medical Practice including Integrative Medicine, Psychiatry and Psychology practice administration and a position as Defence Co-ordinator supporting current and ex-serving Australian Defence Force members, as well as having worked in bookkeeping and payroll/HR capacities. She loves learning new things and takes on new challenges with enthusiasm.
In her spare time Daniela enjoys spending time with her Brady-bunch family which includes her partner, 3 young adult children aged 21, 18 and 16 and rescue Whippet x Kelpie dog Minnie on Victoria’s beautiful Mornington Peninsula.
Fun facts:
- Daniela is a passionate Carlton (AFL) supporter
- Daniela studied early childhood education and photography before realising her true strengths and passion lie in administration
- Daniela’s first language was not English (although she was born in Carlton, VIC)!

Anya
Anya brings over 10 years of experience in medical administration, including cardiology and pain management. Anya previously worked in hotel management where she enjoyed creating a collaborative work environment and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Anya is passionate about continuous learning and is motivated in supporting and empowering others.
In her spare time, Anya loves being outdoors in nature. She enjoys spending time with her family exploring new places.

- Anya has a Bachelor of Science degree
- Anya enjoys reading and has a large collection of sci-fi/fantasy books
- Anya has a love of art and craft and will often have a creative project underway

Kelly
Kelly has over 15 years of administration experience in various fields in clinic and virtually. This includes 10 years of Practice management in Pain Management and Infectious diseases . Kelly loves to work in a fast paced environment and learning different specialties but her speciality is billing.
In her spare time she loves making fun memories with her two young daughters and husband. Especially caring for there animals (2 dogs and 2 minature horses)

- Kelly loves to sing
- She studied media in early years but then became a Practice Manager at 25.
- Kelly’s biggest fears are clowns and spiders.
